The Census Bureau has just released its findings and there are now over 300 million people accounted for in the United States.  What few have yet realized is how dramatically the apportionment of these people will effect the political landscape.  The state of Texas grew by 4.3 million people and as a result will gain 4 seats in the House of Representatives while New York and Ohio each loose 2....

If you are anywhere near Lexington, Kentucky, bring your ass to Buster’s to see the fifth annual recreation of The Band’s Last Waltz.  I have been to the previous four and it is worth the price of admission.  Come early, it usually sells out.
